ROSPHOTO exhibitions in the House of Cinema.

The State Russian Centre of Photography (ROSPHOTO) presents a version of «Russian Hollywood», twenty pictures of remarkable Russian actors and actresses who played in American films in the 1920-1960-ies. The exhibition is on display in the House of Cinema (12 Karavannaya street, St.-Petersburg) until end of May 2009.

The recent show from the unique collection of the fashion historian Alexander Vassiliev, held in ROSPHOTO exhibition halls (35, Bolshaya Morskaya street) was received with great enthusiasm. Those who did not have an opportunity to attend the exhibition, connoisseurs and lovers of cinema and photography would definitely enjoy the possibility to see these beautiful portraits once again .

Presently, ROSPHOTO and the House of Cinema are developing a program of collaboration embracing projects varied in matter. It seems symbolical for this cooperation to start off with the exhibition emphasizing the intense and important relationship of cinema with the art of photography.
