Swedish artists Annica Karlsson Rixon and Anna Viola Hallberg been working together since 2004, first time will show their works in Russia. In the ROFPHOTO exhibition space, they will present the recent projects "Resonance" 2005-06 and "State of Mind" 2007-08. Two of this project brings together the same artist's methods and common ideas of self-identification.

In the first Anna and Annika, exploring the space of contemporary art in Europe and Scandinavia and have interviewed women artists and curators, among them such well-known representatives of Scandinavian art scene, as Annika von Hausvulf and Maria Lind. This is a group portrait of those who are "responsible" for contemporary art today.

In the second artist again take the role of social anthropologists and publicists, and provide an exclusive view of a select group leaving in St Petersburg. Both projects are made in an atmosphere of the absolute trust between the artists and interviewers. When coming in dialogue with an artist one can come out or open him up as if at a confession or on a therapist's couch.

People who is living in the situation of the to the brink of dominate social traditions (whether as to say "representatives of non-traditional sexual orientation" or marginal artists) can only find its face in a dialogue with the artist.
